The professional job application – some dos and don’ts
Our year is getting off to a flying start, and we hope that you are experiencing high levels of business activity too.

We have been receiving some high volumes of CVs in application to our current advertised jobs. Given that many of you found my CV tips to be interesting, I thought it may be helpful to mention some pointers about the application process….there are a few dos and don’ts in my opinion!

Whether you find yourself applying for a specific role, or simply need to send in your CV to a senior executive in advance of a discussion, similar basic rules apply:

CV
Make it simple - easy to read, straightforward and professional
Make it relevant – short and to the point
Direct the message to an individual – you should know who your reader is

I have drawn my list from real life and very recent examples.
